If you’re ready to craft your own message from scratch and send it to a targeted audience—or even the entire database— Write Your Own is where the magic happens. It supports blast email, giving you the freedom to communicate exactly what you want to the contacts who need to hear it.

Step 1: Go to Write Your Own

Write Your Own is your blank canvas for personalized email campaigns. Whether you’re announcing an event, delivering a market update, or just saying “thank you,” you can:

  • Write a fully custom email
  • Include links, images, and formatting
  • Send to any Tag, Audience, or select individuals
  • Schedule immediately or for a future date

Step 2: Set Up Your Message

  • Add recipients: Tags, Audiences or Contacts
  • Choose exclusions (if any)
  • Add a subject line
  • Choose your greeting
  • Write your message
  • Choose closing, and optional P.S. line
  • Select or customize your signature

Step 3: Schedule Your Message

Once everything is in place, click Schedule to send your message now or at a later time. You can also choose to Preview, Save, or Delete your draft. All scheduled, saved, and sent messages are displayed in one easy-to-navigate list for quick access and management.

Step 4: View Your Message

Go to Sent Emails, click on your message, click More Actions and then View Message. You'll also be able to see reporting for that specific message.
