How do I get started?

Simply open an account and upload a list of people you want to stay in touch with (first names and email addresses).

How often are my messages sent?

About every three weeks. Our studies show that a 3 week send cycle increases engagement and decreases opt-out.
 

Why email? Do you send messages using mobile, snail mail, or IM?

Email absolutely ROCKS for this type of messaging. It's the PERFECT media to generate referrals because email is read when it's convenient for the recipient. This makes it easy for us to build top-of-mind awareness without becoming annoying or interruptive.
 

Will I get to approve or edit my email before it is sent?

Yes. You'll get an email from us letting you know a message is ready for your review and approval. You can view, approve, and even edit the message easily in your account.  There are even other emails for you to choose from if the email we have loaded for you isn't quite your style.
 

What is your email open rate?

Happy Grasshopper has an average open rate of 29.3%, almost double the traditional open rates reported by other email marketers - you can see a full report on our email marketing open rates here.
 

How do I upload new contacts?

There are several ways to upload contacts from within your account. You can upload a .csv file, import from popular email clients like Outlook, Gmail, and Yahoo, or can even enter them one at a time right from the Control Panel within your account.

If you're not great on the computer, you can even email a list of first names and email addresses to newcontacts@happygrasshopper.com. The email must be sent from the email address you have listed on your account so we know they came from you. Easy. All formats accepted. 
 

Is my information safe?

Yes, your personal and client information is stored on our secure servers and we will never share or sell your information with anyone. You can read our full privacy policy here. Your credit card will be processed and stored at authorize.net.
 

How will I be billed?

Happy Grasshopper is a month to month service; you will be billed by Happy Grasshopper, LLC for this service, and charges will appear from Happy Grasshopper, LLC. on your credit card statement.
 

What is your refund policy?

We will happily refund your account for any unused service or service you are dissatisified with in your current billing month. If you are unhappy with our services at anytime, simply cancel your account and you will no longer be billed. We also offer a 100% money back worry-free guarantee.
 

How do I cancel my account?

To cancel your account you can either call us at (727) 232-9117 or by email at cancel@happygrasshopper.com. Please include your name and the email address associated with your account, and let us know why you're the only person to ever cancel! Please allow 48 hours for processing.
